The Art of
a Perfect Fit

A considered collection of measurements and styling guidance, designed to help you discover the pieces that feel entirely your own.

A silhouette that moves beautifully with you.

Bust: measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.

Waist: measure around your natural waist, without tightening the tape.

Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips. Compare all three measurements with the dress's own chart.

The silhouette matters

Dress sizing varies substantially by designer, fabric stretch and cut. The chart above is general guidance, not verified measurements for every Fondelier dress. Always prioritise the individual garment's size chart and fit notes. For a tailored, non-stretch silhouette, allow comfortable movement through the bust and hips.

Heels

The right pair should feel as beautiful as it looks.

Heel to longest toe · cmMeasure both feet.Use the longer length.

Place a sheet of paper against a wall and stand on it with your heel gently touching the wall.

Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.

Repeat for your other foot and use the longer measurement. Compare it with the product-specific size chart.

EU (reference) UK (approx.) US women (approx.) Foot length (approx.)

36 3.5 6 22.5–23.0 cm

The perfect step

Shoe sizing varies by last, toe shape and manufacturer. This chart is an approximate reference only, not a guaranteed Fondelier product measurement. Please check the measurements shown on the specific product page before ordering. If your feet differ in size, use the larger measurement.

Handbags

The right proportions, beautifully considered.

For handbags, the most useful measurements are width, height, depth and handle drop. Check the individual product's dimensions to understand what it will hold and how it will sit when carried.

Measurement How to measure
Width Across the widest point
Height From base to top edge
Depth Front to back at the base
Handle drop From the top edge to the handle's highest point

Measurements vary by design; product-specific details take precedence.

Rings

A beautiful ring begins with a considered fit.

Inner diameterFinger circumference

Wrap a narrow strip of paper or flexible tape around the base of your finger, without pulling tightly.

Mark the point where the strip meets. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres.

Match your finger circumference to the table below. For an existing ring, measure its inner diameter instead.

US size EU (approx.) UK (approx.) Inner diameter Circumference
5 49 J½ 15.7 mm 49.3 mm
6 52 L½ 16.5 mm 51.8 mm
7 54 N½ 17.3 mm 54.4 mm
8 57 P½ 18.1 mm 57.0 mm
9 59–60 R½ 18.9 mm 59.5 mm
10 62 T½ 19.8 mm 62.1 mm
A note on ring sizing

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are usually slightly larger. If between sizes, a larger size may be more comfortable. Wide bands can fit more snugly. International conversions are approximate; the individual product's available sizes take precedence.

Necklaces

A delicate detail, beautifully placed.

ShortClassicLongLength affects whereyour pendant sits.

Take a necklace you already love and measure it end to end, including its clasp.

Alternatively, drape a soft measuring tape around your neck to visualise the desired drop.

Compare the length below with the product description; pendant size and neck circumference affect the final look.

Length Inches (approx.) Typical placement
35 cm 14 in Close to the neck
40 cm 16 in At or near the collarbone
45 cm 18 in Just below the collarbone
50 cm 20 in Upper chest
55 cm 22 in Mid chest
60 cm 24 in Lower chest
A personal detail

Necklace placement depends on your neck circumference, height and the pendant itself. Lengths describe the full chain when laid flat, not the vertical drop. Check each product's stated length and extension chain before choosing.
